Scorpions to stick by duo

SCUNTHORPE reserves Simon Lambert and Jerran Hart have, for now, been given a reprieve by promoter Rob Godfrey.

The pair have struggled for form in recent meetings and the Scorpions chief admitted he has come close to ringing the changes.

Redcar reject Jan Graversen came under Godfrey's radar.

But, with very little room for manoeuvre, he has been forced to leave the current team in place ahead of tonight's Premier League trip to Edinburgh.

"I've looked at everything and at the moment we have to go swarovski Rubber Bangles with what we've got," said the Scunthorpe promoter.

"There aren't any changes I can make at this point.

"Me and Richard (team manager Richard Hollingsworth) have sat down rolex replica and looked and looked.

"The rest of the team is doing exceptionally well and putting points on their average, so I've got no points to play with." There's a name that's been mentioned, Jan Graversen who's been dropped by Redcar. "He does well at Scunny but I just can't fit him in. It would mean dropping two riders and I'm not going to do that. "The only other riders I can fit in are three-point riders in the National League and they are nothing better than what we've got. "To be fair to Simon Lambert, at Berwick I couldn't believe he only scored one point because he rode his socks off. "He gave 100 per cent. Really, it was Jerran who was miles off the pace."
